This is a private park and is maintained strictly for the enjoyment of our residents and their invited guests.
Camp in the historic area of Bermuda, Texas. This was a thriving little town in the early days of Texas, and got its life from the raising of Bermuda Onions. The Bermuda Dam was built and the water was, and still today, used for irrigation. This area of South Texas is known as the Wintergarden and raises wonderful winter vegetables. Don and Doris Jackson are only the third family to own this land in the history of Texas. Don and Doris are retired now and want to share this beautiful area on the Nueces River with others. Doris, "Miz Jackson" is a retired teacher who devoted 38 years to the children of Texas. She is thrilled everytime she learns that one of her students is now a successful adult with a good future. Come and visit the Jackson's and enjoy their beautiful Bermuda Lake on the Nueces River. They will be so happy to have you and show the Southern Hospitality of South Texas.

R V LOTS & FACILITIES

We have pull through and back in lots. They are large with lots of trees. At present all lots are located with river frontage. We have all hookups, firepit, electricity, water, etc. Come visit us and enjoy the large Oak, Palms and Pecan trees. We have a beautiful place and you can't believe that you are in the "Badlands, and No Man's Land of Texas". When you come down the hill into the river bottom, you are in another world.

Winters are wonderful! We can go several years without any unpleasant, freezing temperatures. The saying down here is "Cold in the morning, use your heater, and hot in the afternoon, turn on the A C".

We would like to extend a welcome to all the workers who are in South Texas working with the Eagle Ford Shale. Everyone is trying to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable since you are so far from home and your loved ones. Take care, drink lots of water, and be safe. In all the old western movies and books, this is "No man's land".
