Please help keep the park clean by picking up all cans, paper, glass bottles and other trash
in your campsite.
There is no hunting of animals, Indigo snakes or birds. The exception is Rattlesnakes.
Please feel free to enjoy the hiking trails, picnic areas, fishing and boating on the river.

We welcome your dogs and other pets but we have a rule of no dogs larger than 15 pounds.
This is due to past problems in the park that were caused by large, vicious, uncontrollable dogs, like a Rottweiler, Pit Bull,
German Shepherds, etc.

All vehicles in the park must have a permit displayed on the windshield. These are issued
at check in time. Please observe the 5 and 10 MPH speed limits on the park roads. This is to protect the animals, children,
adults and to help keep the dust down. Allow the river roads to dry after a rain before driving into these areas so
ruts will not be made. It is no fun having to be pulled out of the mud because you are stuck.

Please respect the peace and quiet of the park by keeping music and vehicle noise low enough
so it will not disturb others. Quiet time in the park begins at 10:00 pm but no loud music is permitted after 9:00 pm. Guns are not permitted in the park or lake/river
areas. They will be seized and you can pick them up at the office when you are ready to leave the park.
